Here at Claire Wilson Art we are a work in progress and therefore things may be added, removed or in general altered on our website. We reserve the right to update and alter our website and its terms of service at any time we wish to do so and at our own discretion, without any notice. Therefore it is solely your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the latest Terms & Conditions by regularly looking or at least each time you want to make an online purchase.
Continuing your use of the website after the publishing of updated Terms of Service to our website, will be taken into account that you have fully read all the changes and agree to them.
Our aim is to provide our customers with the highest standard of service possible. And at all times any queries or complaints had will be dealt with in the fairest manner ensuring all customer confidentiality. Any queries or complaints are welcomed and will be dealt with within 48 hours from hearing from you.
By placing your order with Claire Wilson Art, you are agreeing to all of the policies, terms and conditions published throughout this website. Your statutory rights are not affected.
When putting product information, descriptions and images online, Claire Wilson Art take great care and pride in stating the correct information with great accuracy, but we will not be held responsible for any mistakes or omissions to any information given. Due to the organic nature of the materials in which the products are created with, please be aware that the colours/grain patterns in the product photos may vary. This can also be a result from viewing on different electronic screens and unfortunately outwit our control.
All prices shown across the website and social media of Claire Wilson Art is all shown in Pound Sterling (GBP).
The delivery costs are shown and invoiced at checkout which will be in addition to the products you have already chosen to purchase. At any moment in time, we reserve the right to modify our prices but this will be stated clearly to you on the order invoice at the time your order is being placed. If however an obvious incorrect price appears on our website and it is not corrected during checkout upon completion of your order, for whatever reason this may be (human or technical error etc), then your order will be cancelled and the payment will be refunded to you, even if it has been validated.
Lastly, it is also possible to request separate packaging if ordering multiple items, but please note there will be an additional charge per item in which you choose to do so with.
If your order is required for an event such as a birthday, anniversary or a wedding taking place within the next 7 working days then please get in touch before placing your order so we can make sure you will receive your order on time.
Shipping times may vary for each individual item, this is due to some items being handmade. Please see the delivery section (down below) for delivery details.
If your order has been confirmed and paid for and when packaging your order we realise there is none left in stock (regrettably this occasionally can happen during busy spells that the website isn't kept up to date due to the fact we are a small team working here at Claire Wilson Art!) you have two options, either we will refund the price you paid for the product within 30 days following the date the payment was made. Or if relevant we can offer you a replacement for the product, a product that is equal to the price and quality or let you know when we will next have the item back in stock. If you accept the replacement product but then wish to return it, then it will be seen as a typical returns and therefore the standard procedure for returns must be carried out.
When making an online payment for any goods/services through the Claire Wilson Art website, you do not need to hold an account with these merchants to use the following methods of payment. Your transaction will be conducted through paypal which is an approved payment service provider. Therefore your card or bank details have not been given to or retained by Claire Wilson Art at any time. All transactions are carried out on a secure server. Please refer to Paypal for full terms and conditions of use.
When making an 'offline payment' for any goods/services through our website, we email you the relevant banking details that you will require to carry out online banking or to pay via BACS transfer. Again, this meaning your card and bank details have never been given to or retained by Claire Wilson Art at any time.
We are a small team of just 2 at Claire Wilson Art HQ and when it comes to delivery, we do everything in our power to respect the times in which we have stated your parcel will be delivered to you by. If by any reason an event may occur in which means we will not be able to meet out estimated delivery times then we will be in touch to the contact details you have left during payment at checkout.
We cannot be held responsible for any damaged or lost parcels, nor for late delivery also. this is because our delivery service is all third parties and therefore outwith our control for any unforeseen reason the delivery is not successful.
In the unfortunate chance that you do not receive your Claire Wilson Art parcel then an investigation will be carried out with the third party courier. This can take a number of days from the day that you enquire about the lost parcel. No reimbursement will be given during this time of investigation nor will a redelivery come into action. Once the lost parcel has been located we will then arrange for a replacement to be sent if lost by the third party delivery service/courier. If your order is damaged upon delivery to your door, then please send us a photo via email, stating your order number within 24 hours of receiving.
If we are notified within the 24hours of delivery then we will refund you or replace your faulty items for free.
Claire Wilson Art does not take responsibility for ANY items that are left outside of the house in an out building or any 'safe place' by the delivery service/courier. Requesting for your parcel to be left in a 'safe place' if you are not at home is doing so at your own risk.
Each purchase you make with us we do hope that you are satisfied with the quality of your order. If for any reason that you are not 100% satisfied then please return your order within 14 days of delivery for either a replacement or a full refund for the item. The items being returned must be in the original condition and the original packaging. Please note that unless your order is proven to be faulty or damaged then the shipping and any handling charges are non-refundable. Once we receive your items and confirm the conditions then full refunds will be issued through the same method of payment in which you selected on your order. If the product returned is damaged when not stated then we hold the right not to refund the item.
The customer holds responsibility to return any unwanted items at their own cost. When returning any item we advise that you pay for the item to be tracked whilst in transit back to us. Until we have received the goods they remain as the customers responsibility.
If the item was delivered to you damaged and we have been notified within 24 hours upon the customer receiving the item, then we will refund the postage cost of any damaged item as well as the product refund itself.
Prior to shipment you are entitled at any time for any reason you wish to cancel your order. However once your order is shipped it will then be subject to the Returns Policy.
