Unfortunately Claire's Commission Diary is now closed for the foreseeable
future. However each Christmas she has a VERY small number of slots available for Bespoke Commission work. This is due to Claire's commitment as an Embryologist for 5 months of the year and also come March 2023 when Double Trouble hit, there may not be any free time to sit at the drawing desk just as much as she once had!
(If anybody knows how to buy time, please share..!!)
Claire's Christmas commission list has been filled by the end of summer each year, so please make sure to get in touch ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Alternatively, there are still gift vouchers available to purchase at any select price. Once the gift voucher has been gifted and if it is desired to be redeemed as/or put towards a commission, then Claire can take a look in her diary and discuss available dates accordingly. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Commissions are extra special pieces of artwork which either make the perfect gift for a loved one, or the unique keepsake in which you can cherish for a life time.
Prices for unframed bespoke artwork, start at £230 for the smallest sizing of A4. This price includes mounting and wrapping however for any additional subjects, an additional cost will be added per subject. Photography
Claire loves to draw the littlest of details in all of her drawings and in order to do so she needs to be able to see it clearly in the reference photograph. Every animal is different and in order to create a true likeness of your animal on paper this is the most important requirement from you as a customer.
The photograph should be well lit from the front of the animal and show very clearly the full head and most importantly the eyes. They help Claire to convert your animals true character onto paper.
Photography Service
Regarding the importance to ensuring the perfect photograph is chosen for your artwork reference photo, we all know how difficult it is to get our animals to sit still and give the perfect pose. Equally, ensuring that the photo itself is of a high resolution is also difficult and not everyone has the latest top of the range technology in order to do achieve this.
Therefore Claire herself also offers a photography service, either at her home for free or at yours starting at an additional fee of £25 - plus a standard mileage rate.
